I LOVE quotes. I am always looking for new ones that I can use for inspiration or even for albums! I design both wedding albums and kid albums that I love to incorporate quotes in. Here is a recent quote that my good friend Genny sent to me.

Dan and I drove to Eugene this past weekend for a couple shoots and some family time. On Sunday our shoots cancelled so we decided to take the long route home and visited a couple wineries. I also wanted to take a couple photos for me...which is not something I do very often. I kept seeing the yellow flowers everywhere and they made everything feel so much like spring. So I snapped a couple shots. I also really liked the rows of trees.....Thanks for peaking...

I had the pleasure of taking photos of Alex about a week ago in SE Portland....not too far from the studio. I am always excited to shoot more urban look for senior photos. Well actually I like the Urban look for almost anything :) Alex brought along her sister for a couple shots and mom also came along for the shoot. I dont always like to have parents come on senior sessions but Mom (Tracy) was perfect (thank you Tracy!). Alex will be graduating from Central Catholic High School in june....Congrats! Here are a few of my favorite shots....

Yesterday Dan and I shot Jared & Sabrina's wedding in Independence Oregon. I think every type of weather happened on this day. Hail, snow, sun, rain...we pretty much covered it all. Despite the not so good weather we were able to go outside and the sun decided to come out for all the formals. It was however very COLD and everyone handled it so well. An HUGE thanks to everyone for letting us torture you for some outdoor photos. I have many images I want to post and will do that later in the week...Just wanted to give a quick congrats to Jared & Sabrina and give a very quick sneak peak. Cute girls! I shot these in Reno on my last trip. The girls were fun to work with and I love the shots we got. We went to San Rafael Park for the session. It was a bit windy and chilly but they were troopers. Here are my favorites...

I have taken photos of Garrett and his little sister a couple years ago and was very excited to take his senior photos. Garrett said he wanted the Urban, downtown look. Something a little different....This of course made me more excited. I love the fun and funky look for seniors. We walked around downtown Reno first and found some great new spots. After that we of course had to make a pit stop and my FAVORITE Red and yellow walls. Thanks to Garrett for having me take your senior photos....Here are just a few of my favorites.....Enjoy...

Picture Perfect! What a beautiful family. The Foster's were wonderful to work with and quite different than chasing two year old kids around. The day was cloudy (and a bit muddy...thanks for sticking with me guys!) but you would never know from the images we captured. These images were shot at Caughlin Ranch in Reno, Nevada. I have more photos that I love but I picked these to feature. Thanks to the Foster's for giving me the opportunity to work with you guys. I had a great time and look forward to working with you again in the future!
