Happy Halloween! I hope everyone has a great day today. I am going to run a quick contest....I want to see costumes and pumpkins! Oh my goodness....My little sister is a SENIOR this year! 17 going on 30! I think I scared myself with these photos....She looks way beyond her years. I of course wanted funky, fun photos for her but she looks like she is in her 20's in some of these....Normally that would not bother me but this is my little sis we are talking about. Destiny got the royal treatment for her senior session. I have been taking Destiny's photos for years and we can get the most awesome shots. It helps that she is incredibly beautiful and has KILLER blue eyes (wish I could have got those blu eyes). I know I have posted a ton of photos of her but I LOVE all her shots so I couldnt help it. The shot with the "cheesy" grin is one of my favorites...I know she may not be too thrilled but that is a Whitney face. Anytime my husband puts a camera in my face that is the face I make for him. My sister and I look so different it was fun to see a little of me in there. Dest....I hope you enjoy your photos! You did such a good job modeling for me....But your not allowed to become a SUPER MODEL! You are ALL MINE! Congrats on making it to your senior year. Enjoy every minute! Love you!

A year already! Its seems like I just took his photos....although he was only about 4 months old when I did. My has he grown. He looked like such a little man. I also LOVED his EYES! He is going to be a heartbreaker when he grows up. He also had some awesome expressions that made me smile. Here is a little collage series I put together with a couple of my favorites.

I am back from New York if you havent figured that out yet! What a trip! I took a few photos and will try and post a couple for you guys but I wanted to get a few clients up first. I know they are patiently waiting for their sneak peak! This is Erin. We took her senior photos not too far from the studio. I love the funky spots we found to use. Erin has beautiful eyes that would just light up for me when I would take her photo. I shot a bit more of an untraditional maternity session for Danielle and Dustin. They were realy wanting something a little different and after seeing an engagement shot taken at the bright yellow wall (its a shot I have hanging at the studio) Danielle immediately fell in love with the yellow wall. I of course was excited about taken some outdoor, funky maternity shots. We did take a few shots in the studio before heading to the famous yellow wall. We arrived at the "W" hotel in New York last night and get in the elevator and what do you know BLISS welcomes us! They must have known Dan and I were coming! The Sign you see was on the back of the elevator and of course the Bliss Button for floor 4. I LOVED it so I had to take a photo for the blog. Of course this was not for us (as much as I wished it was! There is a Bliss Spa connected to this hotel. I might have to indulge in a massage.....ahhh who am I kidding....I will be working like crazy and then going to SLEEP! Check back for more New York Photos.....

I am officially in New York for Photo Plus. Dan and I had to get up at 4 am yesterday to catch our flight here. Those of you who know me know how happy I am at 4 am in the morning (or anytime before 9 am). All I can say is my poor husband! God has blessed him with loads of patience! I brought my camera this time which I usually choose to leave at home. I am going to try and take a few photos while I am here to post. The Miller/Carano Wedding was held in Reno, Nevada at The Three Ponds for the ceremony and The El Dorado Casino for the Reception. The wedding was beautiful as you can see from the photos. I have the entire wedding online if you wish to see more please visit the previews section of our website. Katie and Kyle were so awesome to work with. I felt more a part of this wedding rather than just the "hired help". I shot the Gyll Family in Reno a couple weeks back. Little Luke is almost one year in these photos. What a cutie :) He did such a good job flirting with me. I will have the whole job posted online a little later today...but until then here is a sneak peak...

I take photos of the Reynolds family several times a year but always in September. I call it Christmas in September :) The goal is to get some great shots the family can use for Christmas Cards and gifts. I LOVE the red wall in these shots. Perfect for a "different" family shot and perfect for Christmas. We were going for a more unconventional family session by heading into a funky, downtown part of portland. Some of you may reconize the little girl "Demi" my little Bliss Girl. Demi will soon have to share the spotlight with a new baby brother. I am very excited for them! Senior Photos! I have shot a ton of seniors the last few weeks and am going to do my best to get them all posted on here. This is David and his sister. I shot them in downtown Eugene. The weather that day was a little scary....too much rain :) But we were able to make it work and I think the photos turned out awesome. I just wanted to post a quick sneak peak from this wedding. I am still editing the images and will post a bunch more as soon as I am finished. This wedding was last Saturday in Reno. Katie & Kyle were an awesome couple to work with. Dan and I enjoyed every minute. The day before the wedding it started snowing in Reno....I prayed so hard that night (not sure I slept) for good weather since the wedding ceremony was to be held outdoors. Thankfully we were blessed with a beautiful day. It was a little chilly but still beautiful. Thanks to Katie & Kyle....for including us on your special day. I will post more soon...

Okay...I am sure you guys are tired of hearing this....But I am out of town AGAIN. I am pretty sure this month I am gone more than I am home. Sure makes me miss my own bed and my poor little kitty. I of course miss the husband too...but he is traveling with me most of this month so its not too bad. I feel like a blog slacker but I will do what I can this month......so bear with me. I have TONS of jobs that I need to edit and post and will be doing that as soon as I can. In the meantime I may post a few other fun photos that I have been holding onto for a rainy day (well I hear its rainy in Portland....I however am enjoying the BEAUTIFUL sunshine in Arizona). Beautiful baby girl. Little Adaline is about 3 months old in these photos. We shot her in the studio a couple weeks ago. She did a great job. I am so behind on my posts....but I am frantically trying to catch up. This wedding was a couple weeks back.....Dan and I shot the wedding in Eugene/Springfield. The ceremony and reception was at Tiffany's parents house but we also took the bride and groom plus the bridal party to the U of O for a few photos. There were so many great details at this wedding. One in particular was the tags on the wine bottles. I believe they had all the guests bring a bottle of wine and were to write a little bit of love on the tag for the bride and groom.
